APEC 2023 by the United States warmly welcomed the APEC Economies' delegates who attended SOM1 at Palm Spring, California. These meetings took place February 14-28 in Palm Springs, California, at the Palm Springs Convention Center and the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel and comprised the sub-fora meetings/plenaries, workshops, and field trips. Chinese Taipei delegate was led by the Director General, Dr. Chyou-Huey CHIOU, from MOEA, and the Researcher, Dr. Hui-Chuan CHENG, from NSTC. They took part in the discussion within the PPSTI group to reach a consensus based on a "Grand Challenge" and "Mission".
